BLACK, Ellen Maude – Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 95.
Ellen Black (nee Cook) of Pembroke, wife of the late Brian Black. Loving mother of Brenda Tripp (late Jim), Barbara Woods (late Gordon) and late Wilma Black. Cherished grandmother of Kathleen Tripp (Kevin), Amanda Tripp, Bill Tripp, Shannon Crosby (Mat), Lindsay Woods (Mike), Kate Woods (Stephen) and great-grandmother of Kaleb, Declan and Brigid. Dear sister of Clara James (late Edward), George (Beth), Elmer, Edward (Viv), Doug (late Mary) and Fred Cook (Florence). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Edith Pacey (late Alymer), Ruby King (late John Ferguson and late Andrew King), brother Clarence “Bud” Cook (Bertha) and late parents Stanley and Clara Cook (nee Crigger).
Funeral arrangements to be completed by the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke. Interment Lower Stafford United Church Cemetery in the spring.
