Elizabeth Gay Gervais
A Morris Street, Pembroke girl has passed on. Elizabeth Gervais nee Josey loved her family. Daughter of Foster Josey and Orpha Josey nee Fairfield and stepdaughter to Edna Josey nee Berry. Son Robert Gervais (Vanier). Sister to Stanford Josey (Liz)and sisters Mary Josey (Jacques Chevrette), Linda Veary, Late Joan Behm (Ron), Betty Heubner (Wayne) and Arlyn Berry Belden. Liz loved family trips to the East Coast to visit her uncles, aunts and cousins, especially Coline and Wendy. She lived in Brockville Psychiatric Hospital and many group homes till her last home, Royal Ottawa Place, Ottawa. Many of her friends lived there, too. She looked forward to monthly visits from her dad. She loved purses and earrings. What a devoted mom and dad she had! Thanks to all the staff at Royal Ottawa Place. They were her family, too. Liz/Betty will be missed. Friends may call at the Fraser – Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Saturday January 8, 2022 from 11am until 1pm. Thence to St. Jean Bapiste Church Pembroke for Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm. Interment St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Cemetery Pembroke As expressions of sympathy donations to: Planting Seeds International or Sisters of St Joseph (Peruvian Mission) would be appreciated.
