1932-2022
It is with sadness that the family of Jeanne Bonnar announce
her death at Orchard View Long Term Care on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at
the age of 90. Born in Crawford, Maine, on May 27, 1932, she was the
wife of the late Robert Havelock Bonnar.
Jeanne leaves behind her sons, Lonnie (Sherry), Kelly, Kail,
and Ernest Bonnar (Iris); daughters, Laurel Lazoruk (Dino), Edith
Smith, Gail Gullison, and Rosalind Hartt; several grandchildren, great
grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and
extended family.
In addition to her husband, Robert, Jeanne was predeceased by
her parents, Ernest and Gertrude Seavey; siblings, Georgie, Orris,
Neil, Howard, Doris, Blanche, Edna, Helen, Eva, Dora, Cora, Ellen,
Marion, Paul, and Alton; sons-in-law, Wayne Smith and Charles Hartt;
grandson, Ryan.
Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Friday,
June 10, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm. A memorial
service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June
11, 2022 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley
officiating. Interment will follow in the Upper Gagetown Cemetery. For
those who wish, donations in Jeanne’s memory can be made to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Alzheimer
