Eldred Eldie Jamieson September 19th 2022

Eldred (Eldie) Jamieson passed away on September 19, 2022 at the age of 86. Eldie was born at Okanagan Landing where he grew up and lived his entire life. Loving husband of Lil for 62 years and proud father of Jerry (Sandra), Lynn (Gord) McKay, and Cathy (Al) Zaste, grandfather of Marty, Jody and Gregg McKay and great grandfather of Harley McKay. Predeceased by brother Allen and sister Grace (Crozman). Further survived by brother Herb, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was a member of the Paddlewheel Park Association, NOMRA and drove the Cancer Agency van for many years. Eldie was instrumental in starting the Okanagan Landing Fire Department and was a volunteer fireman there for a long time and also volunteered at Venture Training. Eldie will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a caring man who would help anyone he could, a lover of food, humor, trains and always had a twinkle in his eye. He was a fantastic badminton player with many trick shots and picked up tennis in his later years. The family would also like to thank the staff at Creekside for the great care Eldie received while he resided there. A small celebration of life will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers please make donation to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Alzheimer Society of BC.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Eldred Eldie Jamieson September 19th 2022..
