Edward Ralph Carde, age 69, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on September 4, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Kingston, son of the late James and Lillian Carde.
Ed is survived by his wife Doreen McIsaac. Father of Maurice Carde (Lidia), Steven Carde (Sherry), Donald McIsaac (Carrie), Georgina McIsaac, Melissa McIssac. Grandfather of Serena, Taylor, Cody, Kayla, Dalton, Patrick, Nicholas, Mikayla, Demetrius, Clay, Daila (Brett), Deaira, Chelsea, Chasity, Morgan and great-grandfather to Carter, Arioanna, Casson, Dawson, Ezra, Ella, Elijah. Brother of Jim Carde (Dorothy), Dennis Carde. Brother-in-law of Monica Symes, Donna Willis (David), Patricia McIsaac and Deborah McIsaac.
Ed worked at Crane Canada for 41 years until his retirement. His passions were drag racing, baseball and old-time country music.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service for Ed on Sunday, September 18, at 2 p.m. at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford.
