Tavares, Eduardo Chaves – Passed away peacefully at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Monday August 1, 2022, at the age of 84. Loving and devoted husband of Maria Alcina Tavares. Cherished father of Helder (Nancy) Tavares and Sandra Tavares. Proud grandfather of Haley and Braeden Tavares. Eduardo will also be sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his siblings Jose Chaves Tavares (Maria Carmo) and Maria Noemia Tavares. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, where family and friends will be received on Wednesday August 3, 2022, from 5-9p.m. Rosary will be recited at 8p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, Elgin St., S., Cambridge, on Thursday August 4, 2022, at 11a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
