Obituary of Edna Hammer
Edna Viola Hammer (nee Jacobson) was born on March 23, 1923 at Ryley Alberta. She passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 98 years.
She is survived by one son, Dwayne (Lorraine) of Ryley; two daughters Darlene (Bryce) Albrecht of Red Deer and Elaine (Ron) Kallal of Tofield; ten grandchildren Shannon, Jason, Michael, Kristy, Craig, Kelly, Cody, Angela, Tara and Kalin; 18 great grandchildren; three siblings Ruby McMullen, Ivan (Marie) Jacobson, and Marvin Jacobson.
Edna was predeceased by her husband Robert; son Eldon; brother Denver Jacobson; brother-in-law Stuart McMullen; and sister-in-law Eleanor Jacobson.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the Good News Community Church in Ryley, AB. Interment will follow at the Ryley Cemetery. A proof of vaccination or a negative covid test will be required to attend. Covid Rapid Tests will be made available at the church upon entry for a very nominal fee.
