Edmund Kevin Denny 1962 2022

Denny, Edmund Kevin, 60 of Dartmouth formerly of Pictou Landing First Nation passed away December 23, 2022 in the Palliative Care Unit of the Dartmouth General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Born in New Glasgow he was a son of the late Gregory and Anne (Young)Denny.
Edmund moved to Dartmouth at an early age where he had lived most of his life. He was employed at the LakeCity Wood Shop for many years. His hobbies included painting, crafts, collecting baseball cards and he loved fishing at Albro lake in Dartmouth.
He is survived by a brother Edgar (Charmaine), sisters: Mary Elizabeth, Martha (Daryl) and Natalie all of Fishers Grant, NS; his aunt and uncle Mary Ellen (Francis) Googoo, Membertou; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, brothers: Bernie and Brian and a sister Yvonne in infancy, maternal grandparents Mike and Martha Denny, paternal grandparents William and Mary Young Johnson, his godparents Mary Ellen Denny and Gordon Denny.
His remains will rest at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Fishers Grant after 2pm Friday from where a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Saturday with Father Tom MacNeil presiding and Father Tom Stephan concelebrating.
Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
