Mr Eddie Peters entered into the spirit world and joined his ancestors on Friday, October 21, 2022. He was 37 years old and a member of the Walpole Island First Nation. Loving son of Carol Peters and Fred Bressette Jr. Dear brother of Lauren Petwegeeshig, Nancy Peters, Lenny Peters and Curtis George. Dear uncle of Oceana Petwegeeshig, Raina Blackbird-John, Niles Blackbird-John, Jada Bressette, Seven Bressette, Jagger Bressette-George, Jarvis Bressette-George and Xavier Bressette-George. Survived by his aunties and uncles Willard (the late Theresa) Shipman Jr., Nancy (the late Bill) Jones, Robert Peters Sr., Gail (Charlie Jacobs) Bressette, Shelly (Miles Morrisseau) Bressette, Barbara Bressette, Joanne Peters, Ralph Nahmabin and Gregory Isaac. Beloved grandson of Fred Bressette Sr. and Bonnie Bressette. In the spirit world Eddie joins his grandparents Geraldine and Leonard Peters, his brother Franklin Bressette, his Auntie Suzanne (the late John) Heeley and Uncle Dennis Shipman.
The late Eddie Peters is resting at Carol Peters at 1448 River Rd S, Walpole Island First Nation. Visitation will be held at the residence of Carol Peters Monday, October 24th, 2022 at 7:00pm and Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 at 7:00pm. A private service will be held for close family and friends Wednesday, October 26th, 2022.
