Peacefully, with his loving wife by his side on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Afton Park Place, Earl “Skipper” Haffen passed away at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Sylvia Haffen. Loving father of Bill Haffen, John Haffen and Melissa (Eric), and step-father of Jason (Heather) Cluney and Ronald (Donna) Simon. Cherished grandfather of Makayla, Riley, Reece, Noah, Aysha, Dante and Chiara. Dear brother of Laurie Haffen (Steve Ziers), Randy (Jennifer) Stringer, Ralph (Judy) Stringer, and Bonnie Haffen (Paul Farrell), and step-brother of Alice (Elden) Vey and Blanche Stringer. Predeceased by his parents John and Muriel Haffen, and by his step-brother Armine Stringer. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Earl’s wishes, no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
