Dr. Robert James “RJ” Creighton of Walkerton passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, in his 89th year.
Beloved husband of Karen and father to Debbie Lou (Fred) Ludolph of Waterloo, Peggy Jo (Jack) Scott of Toronto, Bill (Beth) of Waterloo, Ruth Anne (Paul) Hamel of Waterloo, Robert “Bob” (Whitney) of Buffalo, N.Y., Sarah (Steve) King Brohman of Waterloo, and Stephanie King of Hoboken, N.J. Proud grandpa of 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. RJ will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his first wife Joan (Nee Dow), daughter Mary Beth, sister Joan (Don) McFarland, and brother Paul.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at St. Paul’s United Church, Walkerton.

Interment at Walkerton Cemetery will be held later in 2022.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation – “Dr. RJ Creighton Birthing Centre”, Walkerton, or St. Paul’s United Church, would be appreciated by the family.
