It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Patricia Jane Irwin (nee Scully) surrounded by her loving family at the Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Max Irwin. Loving mother of Debra Foster (Rob) of Oshawa, Ted Irwin (Linda) of Aurora, Dr. Paul Irwin and Heather Irwin both of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Jonathan (Hilary), Matthew (Jess), Brendon (Megan), David (Monica), Laura (Andy, Alexandra (Eric), Dayna, Maxwell (Stephanie) and Lily and great-grandmother of Juniper, Jacob, Maxwell and James. She is predeceased by her parents; Edwin Scully and Elma Scully (Woolner). Dr. Irwin was the first female doctor in Cornwall (1963) she was compassionate and open hearted to all she encountered. As per Patricia’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). In honor of Mom’s passion which was palliative care memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
