Douglas Killam 1945 2022

Douglas M. Killam, 76 , of Moncton, NB; passed away
with his sons at his side on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Spencer Memorial
Home. Born in Shaw Brook, NB he was the son of the late James
“Jimmie” T. Killam. He was retired from Maritime Beverages
(Pepsi Cola).
Douglas Sr. enjoyed playing ball and coaching old timers
hockey, he especially loved competing at the Fredericton
Hockey Classic. He was also a member of the 7-11 softball
team, who were the NB Softball Champions in
1977-78.
He is survived by his two sons, Dougie (Laura) of PEI and
Darren (Rachel) of Moncton; grandchildren, Nick, Tia, Brianna, Owen
and Ellie; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kailee and Avery, Emma,
Aleeah and Isabella, by his special friend Linda Leger; as well as
several nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, he was predeceased by his loving wife of
40 years, Phyllis F. Killam in 2008 and by his only brother, Danny
Trites in 2019.
Visitation will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview Funeral
Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 2 to 4
and 6 to 8pm.
The Funeral service will be held at Tuttle Brothers Riverview
Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at
1:30 pm.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe at
a later date.
