Obituary of Dorothy Pichette
Pichette, Dorothy Kathleen (nee Burnham) passed away at home on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Ray Pichette(2021). Loving mother of Jennifer Knelsen(Dave) of Aylmer, Joy Cahill(Dave) of Brantford, Jill Woodford (Steve) of Brantford and Ryan Pichette of Tillsonburg. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren who were her entire world – Connor, Emilee, Abygayle, Riley, Paige, Reese, Aubree, Alex and Haylee. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on January 7, 1958, daughter of the late Donald(2015) and Beverly(2022) Burnham of Aylmer. Predeceased by her sister Judy Nicholson(2001). Daughter-in-law to Arnold Pichette(Ruth) and Anne Fisher of Tillsonburg. She will be missed by her many family members and friends. Dorothy was a faithful member of the Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic minister at various parishes and was known for her involvement in youth ministry. A special thank you to the Stedman Community Outreach, and the nurses and staff at Bayshore Home Health and the VON for the care and support provided to Dorothy during this time. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Kebbels Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00-8:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 116 John Street S., Aylmer. Burial at the Aylmer Cemetery will follow the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothys honour to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Glioblastoma Foundation ( glioblastomafoundation.org/) Share memories and condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
