Dorothy May McMasters
McMasters (Richards), Dorothy May – Age 88, Truro, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. She was born in Great Village, a daughter of the late George Edward and Laura Marie (Brown) Richards.
Dorothy is survived by her long-time friend, Wayne Rushton; daughter, Wanda Hill, Truro; sons, Tom (Doris), Masstown and Ron (Tammy), Ontario; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; sisters, Bertha Richards, Truro and Elise Richards, Debert; brothers, Keith (Brenda), Thunder Bay, ON; as well as nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband John Olin McMasters; son, Brian Douglas McMasters and brothers, Tom, Ron and Raymond.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of choice.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, October 3rd at 2pm in Folly Mountain Cemetery, Folly Mountain. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences are available at www.ColchesterCommunity.com
