Obituary of Dorothy Margaret Bateman
On May 30, 2022, at 12:48 am, I took my last breath in Quesnel BC.I have gone to join the love of my life, John.
I leave behind my baby girls, my daughters Melonie and Marnie. I hope they live their lives for the next adventure and never let anything or anyone hold them back from their true happiness.
To my family and friends: I will miss your hugs and helping hands while baking. Thank you for being with me, helping me, making space for me and loving me -especially over these last two and a half years- know my heart will always love you.
I also want to thank the amazing doctors, support staff, home support, cancer teams and nurses for their care in Vancouver, Williams lake, Quesnel and Prince George.
To those left behind, please do not mourn me. Think of John and I with a smile on your face because of all the laughter and love we enjoyed together and know we are with you always. When you need us, we will be there with you. Share your stories with my girls and remember that my heart was full of all the love you had for me and John.
