Dorothy was born in Teulon, MB and was raised on the Carlson farm just northwest of town where she spent numerous hours riding horses. Her passion for horses lead her to meeting her husband Robert. Dorothy and Bob helped start the Interlake Riding Club and she acted as Secretary for many years. Together they raised beef and dairy cows and from her dedication to the dairy they received numerous awards including Top Quality Milk for Manitoba. Mom was always delighted to receive a nice bouquet of flowers, especially when Bob would bring home a wild flower arrangement.
A small family gathering will be held at a later date.
She will be greatly missed by her loving family and always remembered in our hearts.
We are sincerely grateful to many friends who have given us support and comfort during this unexpected time of loss.
