Obituary
Welcomed into God’s loving arms at the age of 92 years, Dorothy Critch of St. Mary’s. Predeceased by her mother and father, Honora (Mandeville) and John Critch; brothers, Stephen and Lawrence Critch; sisters, Mary Yetman, Eileen Butler, Margaret Hurley, Florence Molloy and Sadie Brazil. Left with cherished memories and grateful hearts for having been blessed by her spirit, are her niece and caregiver, Sheila Yetman, her sister Gen Meehan, her many nieces and nephews in the Brazil, Butler, Critch, Hurley, Meehan, Molloy, and Yetman families, along with her many friends and neighbours.
A special thank you is extended to Aunt Dot’s homecare workers: Karilyn, Elaine and Marley, the paramedics at Gibbons’ Ambulance and the staffs at St. Mary’s Health Care Clinic and St. Mary’s Pharmacy for their care and support. Our gratitude is extended to Jacinta O’Connell for her caring support to Aunt Dot and the family over the past year. A sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the emergency department and 4 West at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Aunt Dot during her final days.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s at a time to be announced.
