September 26, 1939 – August 15, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doris “Dos” Lorraine Park announce her sudden passing on Monday, August 15th, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jim Park, Elaine Park (Jimmy Martin), June Park (Willis Hickey), Dinah McLean (Raymond) and Valerie McLean (Rick); grandchildren: Cory, Mandy, Kenneth, Michael, Shawna-Rae, Brianna and Jonathan; great-grandchildren: Jacob, Hannah, Rylee, Katlyn, Carter, Wyatt, Gracie and Ada; sisters: Shirley Peddle, Marina Hancock (Melvin) and Marion Carrigan (Robert); brothers: Lloyd Dennis (Rachel), Derek Dennis (Lucy) and Arch Dennis (Viola); special friend Myra Dennis; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), mother and father, Herbert and Mary Ann Dennis, daughter-in-law Sherry Power, granddaughter Sonya, grandsons Robbie and baby boy Park, brothers Boyd and Fred Dennis. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. Inurnment will follow that the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request donations may be made to St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach.
