Doris June Ward of Blenheim passed away at the Blenheim Community Village on Thursday April 7, 2022. Born in Dealtown, Raleigh Township on June 1, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ross & Lenetta (Horner) Storey. She was predeceased by her husband John Walker Ward on March 15, 2015 as well as her sister Ruth, her brother Charles and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
Mother of Linda Dianne Goddeeris & her husband Derick, John Paul Ward & his friend Michelle and David Ross Ward. Grandmother to Carey Ann Marshall (Richard), Gilbert-John Goddeeris (Krista), Matthew David Ward (Bree), Rachel Elizabeth Kirkconnell (Ben) and Great-Grandmother of six.
Sister-in-law to Leora Rodwell, Shirley Green, Blanche Burke and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Doris’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Blenheim Community Funeral Home on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 11:00 – 12:00. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:00 followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery.
