Doris Rae Lanoue
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Rae Lanoue (nee Lapierre) at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in her 78th year. Doris leaves behind her loving husband Andre, her siblings Jim (Barbara), Rita Fox (Mike), Sally, and sister-in-law Carol Ann. Predeceased by her parents Mary (nee Hayes) and Raymond Lapierre, brothers Joseph, Alex, Gilbert and sisters Ada Edmonds and Clare Schoof. Sister-in-law of Claire (late Van), Louise and Roger (Gayle). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Her working career brought her to Ottawa where she spent decades with Lafarge Canada. She had fond memories of her Sheenboro roots and will now come back home to rest there.
A celebration of Doris’ life will be held at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Street on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Hermit Church, Sheenboro on Monday, July 18, 2022 at 11:00am. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
In memory of Doris, donations to the PKD Foundation of Canada or St. Paul the Hermit Parish, Sheenboro, Quebec, would be appreciated.
