Langmack, Doris (Nee Armstrong);
It is with profound sadness that the family of Doris shares the news of her passing, on March 23, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family. She will now be welcomed into the arms of her husband, Jim of 60 years and her mother Edith.
Doris is survived by her son Ian (Lorraine) and daughter Susan, Mom is also survived by her sister Muriel, and best friend Betty Harkness of Scotland. Doris is survived in Napanee by sister in law Ann. Predeceased to husband Jim, parents James and Edith Armstrong, brothers Ernie and Dougie, and sisters Isa and Edie.
Mom and Dad brought their young family to Canada from Scotland in 1972. Ian and Susan are eternally grateful for their determination to provide opportunities for the family.
Mom never lost her ties to Scotland and visited often over the last fifty years. Her favourite topic of conversation was reminiscing about family, friends, places and events in “The Borders”.
She is once again with dad, and we wish them “All the Best”.
Aquamation has taken place with arrangements in the care of Wartman Funeral Home – Napanee. Friends and family desiring may contribute to the charity of choice in memory of Doris. On-line condolences may be made at www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com.
