BUDGELL, Doris (née Rees) –
Passed away on April 14, 2022 at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Roy Budgell. Loving mother of Marsha, Glen, and Mark. Dear sister of the late Gerald, Fred, Jack, Hal, and Enid. Cherished grandmother to Alex, Paul, Jared, Olivia, and Lauren. Treasured by her great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Jacob. Doris will be missed by her extended grandchild, Elizabeth, as well by her extended great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Selena, Carmelita, and Fatima. Predeceased by her parents Ananias and Gertrude Rees. Doris began life on August 29, 1927, in her beloved Bell Island, Newfoundland, and moved to Toronto in the early ’50s. Doris very much enjoyed music and leaves behind her many grand-dogs and grand-cats. Doris was a founding member of St. Paul the Apostle Church, Rexdale since 1954, and will always be known and remembered for her great love and devotion to her family. A private celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
