Ellis Richards – The
death occurred at her late residence on Monday, July 11, 2022, of
Doreen Ellis Richards, of Summerside. Born in Arlington, Lot 14, she
was the daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Baglole) Winchester.
Survived by her daughters Ann Ellis (Butch Ramsay) and Kelly (Shawn)
McMahon; step-children Catherine Cormier (Dennis McFadden), Timmy
(Linda) Richards, Julie (John) Englehart, Marie Thibodeau and Peter
(Carolyn) Richards; 19 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren;
sisters Sadie Dolan and Shirley (Reg) Arsenault; a brother Robert
(Cindy) Winchester; and by a sister-in-law Doris Winchester.
Predeceased by her first husband Sgt. Burns Ellis; second husband
Joseph Richards; granddaughter Keshia Ellis; a sister Edith Praught; a
brother Oswald Winchester; and by brother-in-law Denis Dolan. Resting
at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Friday, then to St.
Paul’s Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m.
Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting
hours by request. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or
St. Paul’s Cemetery Fund would be
appreciated.
