It is with extreme sadness we announce the passing of Donald (Donny) McKenzie on Thursday August 11/2022. He passed peacefully with the support of his family and the comfort of his faith.
He is deeply missed by his wife Susan McKenzie, his step children Corey, Todd, and Angie (Jesse), his siblings Barry (Inga), Janice (Tony) and Grant (Penni), and his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Roy McKenzie, Eunice McKenzie, his brother Rod (Chooch) Mckenzie and his stepson Bobby Sterling.
Donny loved playing pool, Harley Davidson’s and music.
He had an extensive record collection and his family knew never to disrupt him on Sundays because he never missed a psychedelic Sunday on Q107.
Donny walked into a family with two preteens and two teens and lived to tell the tale. He loved us even before he tried to win our moms heart but of course he won it with his Mr.D charm and all who knew him, know of which charm we speak. He was a big guy with an even bigger heart and we will miss him greatly.
He is now with our family that we lost way too soon, because even if we had forever it would never be enough.
