December 13, 2022
Donna peacefully passed on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in her eighty-fourth year. Devoted wife of the late Angelo D’Amato for 55 years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Rodney, Susan and Tony. Much loved Grandma to Christpher and Gregory Yalenti. Daughter of the late Isabel Mulberry and the late Frederick Black. Loving baby sister to the late Frederick, Veleta (Baillie), Iris (Rideout), Bernice (Kilpatrick) and Lucy. Donna will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, and many friends, young and old. She will be remembered for her giving nature and sincere desire to help others. The family would like to thank the staff of the CHSLD Joseph-Francois Perrault 4th floor, who treated and cared for Donna in her final years. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Dec 22 from 11:30 to 1:30 at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont. The funeral service will take place at 1:30PM, followed by the burial. A celebration of life reception will follow immediately after the burial, where family and friends are welcome to gather and share all their wonderful memories of a life well lived. Food and refreshments will be served.

Darlene and I wish to express our sincere condolences on your mother’s passing. We can take some comfort from John 5: 28, 29 …”the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.”Jesus promises to resurrect the dead, right here on the earth, so, we will see your mother again, and all of our other relatives that have died. “…it is impossible for God to lie…”, Hebrews 6:18.
