Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario on Friday November 11, 2022 at the age of 74 years. Loving husband of the late Louise Hilts. Loving father of Sherri Kirby (John) of Swift Current, SK., Denise Tonery of Edmonton, AB., Lisa Kozak (Cam) of Camrose, AB., Katerina Tremblett (Les) of Keswick, ON., the late Donald Tonery Jr (Deanna) of Ardrossan, AB., Kevin Tonery (Lesley) of Red Deer, AB., Shawna Tonery (Sarah Miskov) of Barrie, ON., and Karen Tonery (Adam Fitkin) of Barrie, ON. Cherished grandfather of Justin, TJ, Kory, Anna, Devon, Logan, Vincent, Tyler, Nick, Ashton, Jazmyn, Keri-Beth, Kailyn, Kennedy, Ocean, Kolson, Kayla, Jamie-Leigh, Laura and Amanda and great- grandfather of Adam, Halia, Wyatt, Karlee, Aubree, Mackenzie, Carmen, Ameliya, Ambrose, Arlen, Lilli, Darryl, Izake, Jaydin, Nevaeh, Terik, Lincoln, Malia, Cameron, Jaxon, Rylee, Ayden, Pipper, Phoenix, Ryker, and Susan. Chershised brother of Bernard “Bernie” Tonery Jr (Pat) of Monetville, ON., Leonard “Lenny” Tonery (Nancy) of Bowmanville, ON., and Sharon Acorn (the late Bill) of Keswick, ON. Visitation to be held on Thursday November 24 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m. at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home 490 The Queensway South Keswick, Ontario followed by an Interment at Newmarket Cemetery Newmarket, Ontario.
