Obituary of Donald Brown
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Garfield Rayford Brown. Peacefully, Don passed away at Quinte Health Care – Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Monday, August 1, 2022, at age 85. Don was born May 2, 1937 and was loved by everyone who knew him. He always had a smile for you and he was a light in so many of our lives. We will miss him dearly. Predeceased by his beloved wife Linda. Son of the late Arnold and the late Marjorie Brown. Lovingly remembered by his siblings; late George (Pat), Geraldine Wells (late Milford), late Frances Ewing (Eric), late Herbert Brown, late Betty Cooper (late Duane), late Kay Parks (late Bob), Jim (Mary), late Liz Kirkland (late Ron and late Howard), late Barb Szabo (late Bill), Linda Thompson (late Gordon), and Bob Brown (Barb). Fondly remembered with love by his many nieces and nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends at Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa (613-386-7373) on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 11 – 12 pm. Funeral Service to follow at 12 pm. The family kindly request that all guests wear a mask. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Napanee.
In memory of Donald, donations (by cheque please) to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
