Woodwark – Donald “Woody”
Peacefully, following a short illness in the Ottawa Heart Institute on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Reverend Ken and Ida (nee McDowell) Woodwark. Survived by his sisters Jean Teron and Katherine Kimbell, and by many nieces and nephews. Woody was born in Ottawa and spent many childhood years in Arvida, QC. He graduated from Nepean High School and Carleton University. His true passion was skiing and he spent several years as a ski instructor at Edelweiss. A special thank you to the exceptional care that he received at both Westwood Retirement Residence and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. A funeral will be held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, 403 Richmond Rd. at Roosevelt, on Saturday, April 9th at 5 pm.
