Donald Wheaton 19552022

Donald Wheaton
1955-2022
With great sadness the family of Donald Wheaton
would like to announce his sudden passing on December 4, 2022 at the
Kenneth E Spencer Memorial home, at the age of 67.
Born in Moncton Hospital in 1955 he was the son of
the late Leslie (Todge) Wheaton, and mother Pauline (Taylor)
Wheaton. He was predeceased by his son Douglas
Wheaton.
Donnie was a big fan of music and in his younger
years, an avid outdoorsman and had a love for nature and
adventure. He could be seen on his bicycle, down by the
brook fishing, or in the woods hunting. He has been a plant
enthusiast all his life and in his later years he could be found
fishing from his car.
He is survived by his children Donald Wheaton and
Delbert Johnston of Moncton as well as six
grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sister Nancy (Wheaton)
Bannister, brother Dale Wheaton and sister-in-law Janie Wheaton,
nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
He will be deeply missed by friends and family, especially
his sister Nancy and his mother Pauline as they had a very special,
close relationship.
A special thank you to all caregivers and nurses
who took care of Donnie in his final years from the Moncton Hospital,
the Sus Hospital and the Kenneth E Spencer Memorial
Home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of
Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). As per Donnie’s wishes all
arrangements will be held privately.
If desired , donations made to the Canadian Cancer
Society would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences and
donations may be made at www.keirsteads.ca
