SMITH: Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, Donald “Don” “Smitty” Martin Smith of Grand Bend, formerly of Montreal and Brampton, age 72. Beloved husband of Cheryl Rose (Baddeley) Smith. Much loved dad of Amanda Smith and her partner Tyler Patey of Brampton. Cherished Papa of Riley Patey and Keira Patey. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Beverley and Tim Vaillancourt of Midland, Gayle Lapointe of Montreal, QC, Donna and Earl McLeod of Pierre Fonds, QC, Keith and Debbie Baddeley of Calgary, AB. Remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents George Allen and Lillian Florence (Deslauriers) Smith. At Don’s request, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.
