Obituary For Donald Dolemo
Donald Dolemo, lifelong resident of Valhalla/Hythe, AB, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 77 years.
Donald was born on March 8, 1945, in Beaverlodge, AB, and raised on the family farm in Valhalla. He was a farmer, hunter, and trapper. He pursued a lifelong career as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Donald operated bulldozers for Park Brothers, Harringtons, Henry Marqee, and Ernie Lobe on the Alaska, Coquihalla Highways, and Don Pearson, as well as many other companies.
Donald will be sadly missed by his children: Darren (Heather) of Carbon, AB, Glen of Sunset House, AB, and Trudy (Ross) of Beaverlodge, AB; sisters Donna Foss and Darlene Peterson; brother Larry (Cheryl); grandchildren: Kelly, Leah, Brady, Jesse, Tyson, Amanda, Bradly, Dakota, and Skylar; great-grandchildren: Jessica, Jared, Carson, Lotus, Ellias, Lauren, Kashe, and Piper; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his father Jesse; mother Verna; sister Carol Robertson; as well as brothers in-law: Bob Robertson, Dale Foss, and Lloyd Peterson.
As per Donald’s wishes, a Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 2:00pm, at Valhalla Cemetery. For those wishing to join the family, there will be a wiener roast at the Valhalla Centre Campground following the service.
