Obituary of Djuro Ivanisevic
IVANISEVIC, Djuro
March 25, 1964- June 17, 2022,
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Djuro. He passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on June 17, 2022, at the age of 58. Born in Bogodol, Mostar Bosnia and Herzegovina. Loving husband to Jelena for 36 years, and extremely proud father of son Marko. A dear son to Mara and late father Nedjo Ivanisevic. Cherished brother of Obren (Sonja) Ivanisevic, Obrenka (Dragan) Kunovac and late Milenko Ivanisevic. Djuro will be greatly missed by his Draskovic, Milojevic, and Mijailovic families along with his family and friends across Canada and former Yugoslavia. Djuro was a former worker at Ford Automotive and worked at KMJ Transport. He was a long-time member of the Windsor Serbian soccer club. Soccer was his passion alongside fishing and hunting. He will be forever remembered for his love to his family and his generous and stubborn nature.
Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 6pm-8pm with prayers at 7pm. On Wednesday June 22, 2022, the Funeral Service is at 1:00 with Rev. Fr. Dusko Markovic officiating his burial to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Forever in our hearts.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Djuro
