Passed away peacefully at the Dundas Manor Nursing Home in Winchester on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Dilia Hopmans (nee Kerkhof) of Morewood, age 92. Beloved wife of the late Jim Hopmans. Loving mother of Ann Chabot of Crysler, John Hopmans (Kathy) of Crysler, Mary Fife (Dennis) of Berwick and Janet MacGregor (Tom) of Morewood. Dear sister of Rita Cooper (Gordon) of Mariatown. Dear sister-in-law of Barbara Kerkhof of Chesterville. Dilia will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Lisa Corbin (Eric), Jason Chabot (Marie-France), Scott Fife (Krissy), Kimberley Allen (Michael), Doug MacGregor (Margaret), Kelly Fawcett (Justin), Tracy MacGregor (Dan Peacock) and her great-grandchildren David and Alex Corbin, Nicky and Jaymee Chabot, Jack, Sydney and Russell Fife, Lexi and Kane Allen, Dylan and Lauren MacGregor, James and Kate Fawcett. She was predeceased by her sisters Ann Ginies and Jean Keyzer and her brothers Tony and Piet Kerkhof. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Parish in Crysler on Tuesday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. A reception will follow at the Crysler Community Centre. Donations to the Dundas Manor Nursing Home would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
