Heaven Gained an Angel Today
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Dianna May Burak at the age of 79 years who left us on January 12th, 2022.
Dianne was predeceased by husband Marion of 24 years and her parents Jack and Christine Friesen. Dianne leaves behind her 3 children, Brenda, Tracy (Andy), and Kevin (Dawn) as well as 4 Grandchildren, Darian, Brandon, Rheannan and Tyrah in addition to 3 great Grandchildren in Tessa, Kailynn and Cody who will miss her dearly. Mom also leaves behind her soulmate of 30 years Stanley Zolondek who gave her a new lease on life and truly impacted her life when they were together.
Dianne was not only a parent to her three children. She happily opened her home to numerous other children, whether it be babysitting neighbours’ kids, or by helping new parents who were in need of someone who loved children. She helped to take care of them for long periods of time. She always made her home available to her kid’s friends and would invite them to come over for lunch or stay over for dinner. There was always room for one more at the dinner table if needed and she loved having people over to visit.
She will be missed dearly, and we will miss her infectious laugh and the joy she showed when her favourite show or song would come on. She will be missed by friends Doris (who she referred to as her second Mother), Carol and numerous others. She will forever be in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospice for taking such great care and making her comfortable during her time there.
Mother, we love you and will miss you. Until we see you again, fly high, you are an Angel now.
