It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diana Felice MacDougall. Diana passed away peacefully at her home on April 7, 2022, at the age of 80 with her loving husband, and daughter by her side.
Diana is survived by her loving husband Donald MacDougall as well as her daughter Dawn MacDougall, and son Jamie MacDougall (Christa MacDougall).
Diana had 5 grandchildren that she cherished very much, and she will be dearly missed by all of them. Callum, and Aiden Reynolds as well Abigayle, Emma, and Jake MacDougall. They all loved their Nanny very much, and she will be forever missed.
Diana was the youngest of five children. She is predeceased by her parents Bernard and Vivian MacLennan, and her brother Frank MacLennan (Susan MacLennan). Diana is survived by her sister Donna Kennedy (Ernest Kennedy), sister Jean Carcone, and brother David MacLennan.
Diana was born December 16, 1941, in Inverness, Nova Scotia a beautiful town on Cape Breton Island. Diana met the love of her life Donald MacDougall in Toronto in 1959, and they were married December 22, 1967, in Thompson, Manitoba. They had two beautiful children Dawn, and Jamie. Diana, and Donald would have been happily married for 55years this coming anniversary.
Diana loved family get-together’s, as well as family trips down home. Diana was a care giver to many and was the glue that held the family together for many years. Diana will be missed by many. May she Rest In Peace.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday April 13, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and from 7pm-9pm followed by a memorial service on April 14, 2022 at 11am
Visitation and memorial will both held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd. E. in Hamilton, Ontario (905-574-0405).
