It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, in the comfort of her home, on Monday, January, 10, 2022. Loving and devoted wife of Enzo. Much loved mother of Nadia (Joe) Pileggi and Deanna (Genito) Isabella. Cherished Nonna of Stefano and Sebastian. Dear sister of Ugo (Carmela), Frank (Donna), Gino (Norma). Predeceased by her sister the late Rina (the late Nicola). Desi will be fondly remembered by sister-in-law Nina (the late Pat), brother-in-law Attilio (Franca), sister-in-law Adele (Domenic), her nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to Dr. David Caplan, Primary Nurse Hardik Lad and all the Personal Support Workers for their care and compassion. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family funeral service will take place.
