Denise Marion nee Fillion 1929 2022

Denise Marion (nee Fillion) formerly of St. Jean-Baptiste, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on December 14, 2022 at the Emerson Personal Care Home at the age of 93 years.
Denise beloved wife of deceased George Marion, leaves to mourn her two daughters and three sons: Marcel (Paulette), Gisele (Patti deceased), Michel (Jacqueline), Mona (Marc) Guy, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister Irene (Les) and two brothers Lucien (Elizabeth) and Ulysse (Emma).
We thank you dear Mom for all your love and devotion, for making sure we had warm feet with your lovely handmade mukluks and the many beautiful pairs of knitted slippers, for being such a great cook and baker that we just couldn’t wait to get off the school bus to be greeted by delicious homemade goodies and also sharing your special grandmother love with your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. May you rest in peace.
Thank you to all the staff at Emerson Personal Care Home for the wonderful care Mom received during her stay there.
A private family service and will be held at a later date.
