Delphin “Tintin” Thibodeau
1959-2022
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – It is with great sadness
and heart break that the family announces the peaceful passing of
Delphin “Tintin” Thibodeau, at the age of 63, at his home on
Thursday, June 9th, 2022. Born in
Moncton, he was the son of the late Germain Thibodeau and late
Marguerite (Babineau) Thibodeau.
Delphin worked for Captain Dan’s as a production
supervisor for the last 10 years and for Co-op Fisheries for 22
years. He was involved in numerous volunteer organizations,
as fireman, boy scouts, blood donor and helping his church.
His smile and jokes were contagious and he was always ready to give a
helping hand to anybody in need even a
stranger.
Delphin leaves to mourn, his loving wife, Monique
Caissie-Thibodeau; his son, Jéremie of Moncton; his
daughter, Janelle (Jesse) of Richibouctou-Village; step-daughter,
Mélanie and step-son, Marcel; his mother-in-law,
Auréa Caissie (Edgar) of Bouctouche. He will also be missed
by his fur babies, Casper and Dixie.
He is also survived by two sisters, Simone Robichaud (late
Guy), Diane Vautour (Yvon) both of Richibouctou-Village; three
brothers, Omer of Richibouctou-Village, Alban (Noëlla) of
Pirogue, Elzéar (Joanne) of Bouctouche; three
sisters-in-law, Monique Thibodeau (Yvon), Murielle Caissie (Daniel) of
Shediac, Chantal Caissie Richard (Guy) of St. Antoine; one
brother-in-law, Paul of Cocagne and by many nieces and
nephews.
Delphin was the Godfather of the late Emma Robichaud,
Mélanie Vautour and Michelle
LeBlanc.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother,
Gilles (2018) and his father-in-law, Raymond
Caissie.
There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11:00 am, St. Antoine de
Padoue Roman Catholic Church in Richibouctou-Village.
Donations in Delphin’s memory may be made to the St. Antoine
de Padoue Roman Catholic Church and would be appreciated by the
family.
