ALBURY, David Hubert
100 years old, David passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Rosewood Erie Glen Manor. Predeceased by his loving wife Autumn (2015), son Gene (1988), and granddaughter Jaime (2016). Survived by sons James (Olivia), Shayne (Bonnie), and daughter Joanne Simpson. A caring brother to sisters Barbara (late James) Esme (late Neville), and Lois, adoring grandfather to 5 grandchildren, a loving great grandfather to 8 great-grandchildren, and a caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. David will be missed dearly by the lives he touched. Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, he became a veteran in the Australian Air Force during WWII. Working as a Diesel Mechanic later in life as well as a member of the Canadian Legion and an avid gardener. Thank you to the staff at Rosewood Erie Glen, VON nurses, St. Elizabeth staff and Dr. Rukavena for taking such great care of David. As per David’s wishes, he will be cremated with a private service with immediate family at a later date.
