Obituary of David William Hutton
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and papa, David who went to be with the Lord on September 3, 2022 at his home. Loving husband of 58 years to Barbara Hutton (Priddle). David was born in Fort Erie on December 18, 1937.
He was the proud father of Michael (Donna), Karen Ferguson (Tom), Kathleen Harris (Bryant) and Brian Hutton (Rochelle). He was also the proud and devoted Papa to Lauren (Gavin), Katelyn (Peter), Sean, Liam, Valerie, Nolan and Reid. He is survived by his sister Sandra McDermott and sister-in-law Carol Hutton. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. David is predeceased by his parents David and Mae Hutton and brother Dennis. He graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Civil Engineering and he began teaching at Fort Erie Secondary. David retired after 32 years where he was head of the Math Department at Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School.
Thank you to Dr. Scher and nurses at St. Elizabeth home health care for their wonderful care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie, on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Faith Reformed Church, 3605 Black Creek Rd, Stevensville, on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery. Donations in David’s Memory may be made to the Faith Reformed Church or to Prostate Cancer Research. Online condolences may be shared at www.bennerfuneralservices.ca
