David Webber 2022

WEBBER: David Joseph,
Dave passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 5th, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife Sharlene, his dear siblings Mary (Michael – deceased), Frances (Harold), and Robert (Rita); his loving children Edward (Kathy), Philip (Kayla), and Rebecca (Ken); and his dearly loved grandchildren Zackary, Cooper, Cohen, and Lincoln. He is forever in the hearts of his extended family and many friends.
Dave entered the military after high school and served overseas in Germany before returning home to help support his family. He was proud of this service and his love of the Canadian Forces was evident to all who knew him.
He was a lifelong resident of Adjala-Tosorontio. Many will remember him as the man behind the bar at the old Loretto Inn. Dave was also an ardent supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion, and will be remembered fondly by his friends and fellow Veterans at the Alliston branch.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held at the Alliston Legion Branch 171 on Saturday August 27, 2022 from 1-4pm, with a time of spoken words by the family at approximately 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to the Alliston Legion Branch 171 (111 Dufferin St. S, Alliston, ON L9R 1E9) in Dave’s Memory.
