Passed away peacefully at Roberta Place long Term Care on November 23, 2022, one week before his 87th birthday. Beloved husband to the late Margaret MacLeod (nee Hogg) (2007) and his second wife Liz MacLeod (nee Carr) to which he has been happily married for over 13 years. Loving father of Robert Sr (Caroline) MacLeod and Shawna MacLeod. Step daughters Carolyn Petley and Teresa Selander. Cherished grandfather of Robert Jr, Alexander, Heather, David and great grandfather of Benjamin and Mason. Caring brother in- law of Michael Hogg. David was the youngest of 7 and is predeceased by 5 of his older brothers. David is also predeceased by his parents Phillip and Irene (nee Anderson) MacLeod and step father Howard Smallridge. David will be missed by his brother Gord (Helen), nieces, nephews, extended family here and abroad and not forgetting his countless friends he has met along the way.
Family and Friends are invited to a visitation that will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at St George’s Anglican Church, 9 Granville Street, in Barrie from 12 o’clock until the service time at 2 o’clock.
