David Norman Glass of Atwood passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the age of 69 years.
Beloved husband of Susan (McLaren) Glass. Brother of Nancy & Harry Czuba, and uncle of Ryan & Jessica, and Mark, all of Burlington. David is also survived by Susan’s siblings Malcolm & Joanne McLaren of Ayr, Rob & Bonnie McLaren of Tavistock, Anne McLaren of Guelph, Cathy & John Laurindo of Alymer, and Colin & Deanna McLaren of Baden, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parent David & Anne (Mara) Glass, his sister Elizabeth Duncan & her husband Bob Duncan.
David graduated from University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1972. He joined the Campbell Soup Company in Toronto in the late 1970’s, and then transferred to the Listowel Campbell Soup plant in 1980 where he met his wife Susan. They were married on July 14, 1984.
Fondly referred to as Pic, David loved spending time at this cottage on Healey Lake, cruising the lake in his beloved Tinny. David also enjoyed his time at the Listowel Legion with his many friends he had made through the years. He was actively involved in the annual Robbie Burns Banquet, chairing this event for many years.
Private visitation for friends and family will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, January 7, 2022.
Memorial donations to Listowel Legion Branch 259, or Feline Friends of Stratford would be appreciated.
