David Clark Swinimer
1942-2022
SWINIMER, David Clark. Age 79 of Martins River, Lunenburg Co., passed
away unexpectedly on April 8, 2022 at home.
Born in Western Shore on November 22, 1942, he was the son of the late
Bernard and Florence (Acker) Swinimer.
David worked for Farmers Dairy for several years, known to many as the
“milk man”. He then went off to work at High Liner until
his retirement.
David is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Trask), Martins River;
daughter, Kathy (Stephen), Martins River; son, Michael (Kristina),
Martins River; grandchildren, Mitchell (Abbey), Linnea, and Brianna;
great-granddaughter, Ellie; siblings, Janet (Bert), Susan (Bobby),
Wendy, Wayne, Russell (Rose); and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his sister, Linda and
two sisters in infancy.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Mahone Funeral Home, P.O.
Box 200, 32 Parish St., Mahone Bay, NS B0J 2E0 (902-624-8241). Online
