1930-2022
David Charles Pattullo, 92, of Fundy Royal Manor,
Hillsborough and formerly of Sus passed away peacefully on
October 23rd, 2022 at the home.
David was born in Montreal, Quebec on April 20, 1930 the
son of the late Francis and Sarah (Nason) Pattullo.
He was a retired school teacher having taught in both
Quebec and New Brunswick , his last job was teaching at Sus
Elementary School. He was a member of the Retired Teachers
Association. David loved teaching children and also
enjoyed the close connection with his fellow colleagues.
He had a passion for travel and enjoyed many experiences
all over the world. He was fortunate in his last
couple of years to have two of his nieces, Catherine Moir of New
Horton and Judy Bryant of Hopewell Cape close by to assist him with
his needs.
Special thank you to the Extra-Mural nurses and to
the staff of Fundy Royal Manor who provided excellent care and made
David feel so comfortable. Thank you to Dr. Kendra Gilmore
of Sus for all her care, support and
kindness.
David will be missed by his sister Elizabeth
Garvey of Brockville, ON and nieces and nephews and their extended
families.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother,
Ernest and niece, Janice Beauchemin.
Honouring David’s own wishes there will be no visitation or
funeral service. Interment will be in the Gladstone
Cemetery, Fredericton Junction, NB at a later date.
For those who wish to make donations in David’s
memory, the charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
