BELL, David John – peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 after a short battle with cancer at the age of 63 years.
David Bell of Petawawa, loved husband of Cynthia Bell (nee Shaddock). Caring father of Cory (Kaitlin) Bell of Pembroke & Katie (Cody) Ornatowski of Windsor. Proud grandpops to Avery & Haleigh Bell. Predeceased by his parents Charles & Jean Bell (nee Mackey), parents-in-law Bruce & Dianne Shaddock. Will be missed by his brothers-in-law Ben (Freda) Shaddock, Brian (Annette) Shaddock, sister-in-law Susan McElary, his companions Buddy, Zero, Jake and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Respecting David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 1:00 till 3:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service in the chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
