Obituary
The Lord in His infinite wisdom, called home to Himself David Heyink at the age of 48, after an 8-month battle with cancer. He will be forever remembered and loved by Wendy, his wife of 22 years. He was the loving father of Taylor, Mitchell, Morgan and Madison. Beloved son of Thea Heyink and son in law of Joyce DeVries. Dear brother and brother-in-law to Laura and Gregg Vandenberg, Kevin and Laura Heyink, Trevor Heyink and Cynthia Froma, James and Melody Heyink, Nathan and Rosalie Heyink, Juliann Mans, Kevin and Vanessa DeVries, Sharlene and Jeremy Huizinga and Scott and Tamara DeVries. Uncle Dave will be missed by 33 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father John Heyink and father-in-law Henry DeVries.
The Lord richly blessed Dave in his personal and work life. Together with Wendy, they started Lakeside Landscape in 2000 and have been growing the business ever since. Dave strived to glorify God in his work and business dealings and he gained many good working relationships with clients.
