Darlene McReynolds passed away at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto on February 6, 2022 at age 70. She fought a number of health issues over the last several years and succumbed to heart failure waiting for surgery.
Darlene was predeceased by parents Mickey and Nell McReynolds, and brother in law Fred Wiebe. Survived by sister Sharon (McReynolds) Wiebe her past partner Mike Fletcher and Sharon’s four daughters and their families, daughter Trina (Wiebe) Reilly husband James and children Kaiden Kiera and Emma, daughter Harmony(Wiebe) Henrich and her husband Craig and their children Vienna and Rosalind, daughter Sharmane (Weibe) Prince her husband Cory and their children Maverick Mathias Bodhi and Theoden, and daughter Lana Wiebe and partner Mat Betournay. Also survived by brother John McReynolds and spouse Ruth Reeb, Johns children and their families, daughter Stefanie (McReynolds) Malandruccolo and husband Joe and daughter Gia, and his son Matthew McReynolds and spouse Lauren (Udzbinac) McReynolds and son Knox.
Darlene was born in Fort Erie Ontario June 11, 1951 and lived her adolescence years there attending FESS where she was very involved in school activities including heading the cheer leading squad with her dear friend Lorna. She also spent many years skating in the FE figure skating club with her dad Mickey president of the club. Darlene’s friends described her as fiercely independent and lived her life her way. After school and some world travel Darlene happily settled down in Toronto with her predeceased partner Grant Deans.
In her later years Darlene settled into Toronto apartment life with her beloved dogs and cats and became very active in the Bethal Baptist Church as a board member working with the Pastor Jamie and his wife Suzanna. Darlene loved Fort Erie, Toronto, her friends, family, neighbours, and her church associations and activities.
Darlene will be missed
Due to Covid and Chapel restrictions services will be held at a later date in the spring.
