Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daphne Isabel Bourne (Price) announce her passing on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in her 70th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 48 years, Melvin Bourne; her children: Candi Bourne (Hector), Cory Bourne (Wendi), and Christen Bourne (Carla); brothers and sisters: Mary Froude, Charles Price (Ivy), Jack Price (Marjorie), Loretta Meagher, Dorman Price, Beatrice Langdon, Rosella Gorman (Rodger), Barbara Churchill (Wayne), and Terry Price; sister and brother-in-law: Olive Price, and Wayne Bionda; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
Daphne is predeceased by her parents: Moses and Effie Price; brother and sisters: Frank Price, Ethyl Gould, and Beverly Bionda; as well as her in-laws: Terry Froude, Tiny Meagher, Albert Gould, Pat Price, and Harold Langdon.
As per Daphne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held on Monday, January 2, 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. There will no formal funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Daphne’s memory to charity of one’s choice.
